Pues aquí, un poco alejado del blog por motivos personales, les dejo algo de lectura, digamos obligatoria.
1. Legal Affairs es un revista de derecho estadounidense que se publica bimensualmente. Sus artículos son escritos por abogados, estudiantes, jueces, profesores y cualquier personalidad que tenga algo nuevo e interesante que decir sobre el derecho o the Law, como se le dice por allá. Una de las gracias es que se puede consultar íntegramente su archivo, hasta el primer número.
Su presentación es como sigue: "Law and lawyers matter deeply in the United States and around the world. Yet literate and probing writing about the law is found too rarely in even the best general newspapers and magazines. Legal Affairs presents this kind of writing regularly, with the goal of stirring a challenging, vibrant conversation about the law.
Each bimonthly issue offers a rich mix of perspectives and voices. Contributors range from star academics and outstanding judges, to award-winning journalists and Pulitzer Prize-winning writers, to rising scholars, reporters, and others who have something surprising to say about an important topic. 2. En la misma Legal Affairs se puede encontrar uno de los blawgs más famosos de la blogósfera (:S): How Appealing. Escrito por Howard J. Bashman concentra su atención sólo en asuntos legales relacionados estrictamente con apelaciones (appellate litigation, hence how appealing).
3. Finalmente, pueden revisar el blog de derecho del Wall Street Journal. El encargado es Peter Lattman, quien antes de convertirse en periodista trabajo como abogado, y también publican algunos periodistas y editores del WSJ.
Según Lattman, el blog está enfocado en dos temas: los negocios y el derecho y el negocio del derecho. El primero se refiere a todas aquellas noticias, hechos o acontecimientos noticiosos que relacionen ambos mundos, mientras que el segundo se refiere a la práctica del derecho en las firmas y bufetes.
Es agradable encontrase con páginas que traten al derecho como se merece, aunque me gustaría que fueran en español, es muy buena lectura...
